Blue glow indicates kettle is ON
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this kettle. First it's very aesthetic on your counter. Nice to look at. Plus, you can tell if you have already turned it on as it glows blue Until it reaches a rolling boil then blue light shuts off and it turns off. The Pot changes color back to clear. It's fast for boiling a cup or a pot full of water. I am not a big fan of microwaving my water and hate to take up space on my stove for a water kettle. This is across from the stove. Just love my purchase.

CHEFMAN - 1.8L Electric Kettle - Stainless steel
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an excellent kettle to have. Even comes with a special tea-brewing insert. I love the fact that it pleasingly lights up when the water comes to a boil.

Works great but screw rusted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used product for two months, works great. I use it everyday. But I noticed when using it this last time that a screw inside by the lid had rusted and was corroding inside, not sure how long it has been like this! Maybe it's a fluke?

I have had it a week now and made...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....About fifty (yes, 50!) kettles of tea. This device is the bee's knees or if you're feeling rather rakish, the toad's goads! I bought this for me and me alone and let me tell you all right now, this little kettle has the mettle to get the job done. I am not joking about 50 full kettles of tea. I am sipping some iced tea right now. Made FRESH by this wonderful device. My daughter tried a cup just yesterday and liked the flavor of the tea and the economical way the infuser gets the most from just two (yup, 2!) bags of tea that I will be giving her and her husband one of these today. I put my hard earned money where my typing fingers are and highly recommend this not only with words but by purchasing another one today! Huzzah?! Yessir! Yuppers! Yeah...Highly recommended indeed. Trust me...I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'. :-)

Q: QuestionDoes this tea kettle have multiple heat settings?
Asked by CG.
- A:Answer No heat settings and it doesn't have a keep warm function either. But the blue leds are cool and get remarks and auto cut off works well. I really like the totally separate glass carafe - water never touches anything but glass when heating.

Q: Questiondoes it have a plastic rim on the bottom of the pot where you boil water? I saw one at a different store same brand and has a plastic looking rim side on the bottom unless that rim is also made of glass?
Asked by v.
- A:Answer I think the plastic base is under the glass so water doesn't contact it when boiling.

Q: QuestionDoes this Chefman electric tea kettle beep when the water comes to a boil?
Asked by CJG.
- A:Answer It does not make any sound at all. A blue light lights the pitcher up as its boiling and then the blue light shuts off once the boiling point has been reached and the pitcher power turns off as well.

Q: Questioncan this kettle be used to make coffee?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Inside it? Maybe? I would not. It would be difficult to clean. I use it to make hot water to make coffee in my French press and my aeropress.
