Sedu Revolution 1½" Styling Iron

I have had this flat iron for years and loved it. I decided to go with the same model as I was beyond happy with my previous one. I am very disappointed in this newer product. It does not glide as smooth as the older model. I also didn't feel like one pass was enough for my hair with this newer model. I am also angry customer service said I cannot return the flat iron since I used it. Will decided if I stick with the higher priced sedu or switch all together after many years. Whatever I decide it will be on a different site. The response from customer service 'to leave feedback for sedu' also leaves me leaving feedback for lookfantastic.

I have thick Latina hair and this straightener has made my hair look tamed and shiny! It is really great with styling. I have used it three times to straighten the top and curl the ends and I have received several compliments! I had sedu rev 1" and after 4 years it broke down and had to find me a new straightener. Couldn't be happier with this straightener. Only con I have is that it's a little bigger so my hand gets a little tired from holding it, but on the flip side I can bundle up more hair.

Although the first one I received had a manufacturers defect, which led to me having to return my iron after one month, the company honoured their return policy and personally checked the new iron for the same defect before sending me a new one. I purchased the Sedu Revolution 1½" Styling Iron during the first week of January 2017. I received in mid-January 2017. After two uses (spread throughout 3 weeks), the Styling Iron will no longer turn on. All of my styling tools are Sedu-branded - and this was definitely not the quality/product performance I would have expected from them.

The only people I'd recommend this product to are those in need of an over-priced paper weight. I'm disappointed and out $100. Not. Cool. Sedu.

I purchased the Revolution styling iron and blow dryer together ... a decision that I am very happy with. Both items deliver on they promises completely. The flat iron is clearly made of quality materials and has a comfortable weight to it. The heat setting is high enough to manage my thick course hair and quickly results in a smooth and shiny look that is most flattering. It's easy to use and when curling with it, the plates swivel a tiny bit to produce a nicely rounded curl. It costs a little more, but you do get what you pay for and it's well worth the cost!

I love Sedu flat irons. I've owned 4 of them - in the last 5 years. That should tell you that if you want this product, just plan on having to replace it each year. I'm OK with that because I can afford it and when it works, it works better than any other flat iron out there. The product does an amazing job when it works. But it is frustrating to pay so much for a product that is designed to last about a year. At this point, I'm looking for alternatives. But still, I recommend it if you're OK to replace annually.

Been using sedu professional for years. It was out of stock so I got this but it wasn't even as good as the professional, let alone worth the higher price. Straightens hair but doesn't make it as soft and silky as the older model did. Also this model is so heavy and bulky. Kept cramping up my hands. Returned! Now going to find professional somewhere else.

I have brought Sedu Flat Irons for some time now and I love its performance yet after the 2nd year it always happens the cord on these irons go bad I have a collection of them in my closet because I'd invest in a new one about every other year.

I wish they would make a better, stronger cable for these irons if it weren't for that I'd continue to buy them I have 6 sisters and always shopping around for better quality products.

I just invested and brought 3 Flat irons as gifts unfortunately they weren't SEDU.....

I have used a lot of hair irons in the past and by far, this is the best that I have used and for the price, it's very reasonable. As a busy mom, I don't have time to style my hair and this Iron saves me a lot of time. I always wear my hair on a bun but not anymore after having this hair iron!!! It doesn't leave a burnt smell on the hair and makes the hair shiny and smooth after use. I wold recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality hair iron without braking your wallet!
