The band is okay, but I recommend swapping to the Milanese Loop
The aWatch needs to be snug against your wrist for the sensors to work properly. And the sensors are used to keep the watch unlocked while you are wearing it. Since your wrist changes diameter slightly over the course of a day, I found myself moving from one hole to another and it was ether too loose or too tight. Since the Milanese Loop is infinitely adjustable, it made more sense for me. Un like traditional watches, swapping bands on an aWatch is pushbutton simple. Push the button on the back of the case, slide out the old band and slide in the new band. The Milanese Loop proved itself over a week at Disney World.

The only watch my boyfriend will wear!
I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend, who has a collection of nice watches that he never wears. He's had it approximately 3 weeks now, and he only takes it off to charge it at night. Excellent call quality - I've been on both ends of the call, and I can hardly tell that he's not speaking on his phone. The phone can be on the other end of the house and the watch maintains excellent connection. Texting,reading emails, and using apps is great. My boyfriend loves Reddit and the app integrates nicely. Music storage is awesome for working out, yard-work, walking the dog, etc, without having to be tethered to a phone. The screen is very durable and crystal clear. The sapphire crystal display is truly scratch resistant. Very easy to pair with the iPhone 6 Plus, and the watch strap (sport band) is comfortable for all day wear. Step tracking works great, and it gently reminds you to get up and move around when you sit for too long. Looks nice with casual wear and business attire - very classy and not obnoxiously big, loud or annoying with back-light/notifications. Battery life - he has no problem getting through the entire day with normal use (call/text/email/step tracking/app use) on a single charge, and the charger connects magnetically (so no fussing with annoying ports). Apple Watch Amazing Beautiful
This device is the standard bearer of what all electronic devices ought to be. The craftsmanship, materials, quality and functionality are beyond compare. I can't get over the build, the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness of the designers. If this is the type of device you're into, you won't be disappointed. I feel sorry for Samsung they will always be second fiddle to Apple with this market segment.

After many Android Wear and Pebble watches ---
I have owned many of the Android Wear (including Huawei which was a beautiful watch) watches. I also owned a number of the Pebble (including the Time Steel which was the best of the bunch) watches. I went from an Android phone (Note 5) to an iPhone 7 Plus. I finally decided to give the Apple Watch a chance. I bought the Original or Series 0 model since I wanted the stainless steel. I do not use Maps so have had no problem with the CPU speed. I also bought three metal bands since I found the black sport band to be less attractive than the watch itself. As usual with Apple products, the watch performs as designed. I may buy the Series 2 at some point in the future but I am currently satisfied with what I have. I charge the watch every evening for a couple of hours. It usually should about 60% remaining battery.Read full review

You don't have to have your phone out!!
It's great. I don't use all the functions yet, maybe I never will. But the simple fact that when I'm out or doing things around the house. I don't have to either run to my phone or pull it out. I can see what is going on by a very discrete tap on my wrist.
