First the good....getting this product from the seller arrived a lot earlier than expected, so I was very happy about that. The keyboard overall is decent and arrived without any problems and in good condition considering the trip it made to get here. The only bad news is the design of the Ultrathin keyboard cover which has the magnetic hinge edge being very sharp when the ipad is attached, the edge sticks up. This is the fault of Logtech designers, not the seller where I got this from. I knew of this edge sharpness of course, but it's getting to be more difficult to find keyboard covers for an iPad air 2 (good ones that is). Regarding the edge being sharp, just have to be careful how you handle it when the ipad is attached for carrying.

I still like the concept of these cases and how they match the respective iPad. However, this generation has a much cheaper feel which made me concerned. My concerns were confirmed after one I ordered came with a defect: one end of the slot where the screen fits was raised, i.e., not attached down completely. This made it so that, when attached at the hinge point, the cover would not close completely. Terrible. So I sent it back for a replacement and the second one had the same flaw! Normally, I am a huge fan of Logitech but I must say that this one has me less enthusiastic about their products.

This is the best one unless you need a protective case. It's best because there are separate rows of keys for the numbers and the functions. The number keys are large and all of the labeling of the keys are white (you cannot see keys with blue labeling very well). The delete key is a nice size whereas some keyboards have a small one and you end up hitting the lock key a lot by mistake, The feel of the keys are nice and it's great that you can adjust the angle. It doesn't bother me very much that I have to push the adjustment strip down before closing the case (I usually forget until the case doesn't close and then I remember). The magnetic closure does stick out but since there were worse issues with all of the other keyboards that I investigated, I don't mind. I initially wanted to be able to use rechargeable batteries but after finding out that I can buy 6 batteries for under $5.00 on ebay (you only need 2) and that the batteries will last a really long time, I'm happy that I don't have to charge it every month or two and I also don't have to take a cord with me when I travel. I liked some of the keyboards that had a hinge, but after reading their reviews, I found out that the hinges end up breaking, some after a very short time. This keyboard could be improved, but after investigating all of the other ones, I think this one is the best one available unless you need a protective case. I don't take my iPad many places, and when I do, it fits in my purse.Read full review

I've used this keyboard with many versions of IPads. the only problems with this one is using it with a glass screen protector. It cracked it due to the glass. also the tilting feature is good but adds some bounce when you touch the screen. Otherwise good product.

Pairing is a breeze and battery seems to last forever. It's reasonably thin and light so carrying the iPad+keyboard combo is not awkward at all. One fatal design issue, however, is the hinge that hold the keyboard and iPad together when folded, which has a very sharp edge that I almost cut myself several times.
