Earning and using eBay Bucks

The eBay Bucks Rewards Program was designed to reward eBay members for purchasing items on ebay.com. After careful consideration it was discontinued on April 2nd, 2024 to deliver more exciting value to our customers.

Remaining vaule on eBay Bucks

If you have any unused value on your eBay Bucks certificate after April 2nd, 2024 due to a refund originating from a return/cancellation, then you can still redeem that value.

When you find an item you'd like to buy, here’s how to redeem your eBay Bucks certificate:

  1. Go to checkout.
  2. Select the checkbox next to your subtotal to apply your eBay Bucks to your purchase.
  3. Select Confirm and pay.

If your eBay Bucks certificate is not available at checkout, you can still redeem it manually. Here’s how:

  1. Find your certificate code in the eBay Bucks - opens in new window or tab section of My eBay.
  2. Continue to checkout - opens in new window or tab to make your purchase.
  3. Enter your code in the Add coupons box at the bottom of the checkout page.
  4. Select Apply.

You can’t transfer your eBay Bucks certificate to someone else, and you can’t combine eBay Bucks earned on multiple accounts.

How to leave the eBay Bucks program

To leave the eBay Bucks program, go to the eBay Bucks - opens in new window or tab section of My eBay and select Unenroll from eBay Bucks. You’ll lose any rewards you’ve earned.

The program has stopped running any offers and issuing any new vouchers. We're working on new ways to bring more exciting experiences for our customers.
