3.0 out of 5 stars. Stove is OK, but not the best deal aroundVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arkansas on Thursday, July 2, 2015The Primus Stena Stove looks to be a fine product, however it does not include a plastic carrying case like similar products sold elsewhere do and the price of $37.50 seems high.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Butane stoveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Canada on Wednesday, June 3, 2015Works well but find the flame is either high or off. Hard to adjust to less flame as it shuts off. Price was right though. Butane canisters easy to find and not expensive.

3.0 out of 5 stars. An OK productReviewed by Weekend Camper from Califirnia on Friday, October 24, 2014The stove is comparable in its features to similar offerings from Coleman, Stansport (Walmart),
GasOne (Amazon), Chef-master (various online stores) and a bunch of other brands. It does what
it's supposed to do and allows you to cook decent meals outdoors. (My favorite is a combination
with a Lodge 10 1/2" square grill pan). I compared it with a Coleman stove which is almost half
the cost, smaller in size and comes with a plastic carry box (the Primus doesn't). Coleman won.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great little burnerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Peaks of Otter, VA on Wednesday, September 3, 2014Once I figured out how to place the top, because who needs directions anyways; it worked great. The best thing is that it can be used indoors. The fuel isn't hard to find if you don't try to find the Primus brand, because the company makes appliances and not fuel canisters. I am very pleased with this unit and am glad that I took a chance at such a GREAT price!

3.0 out of 5 stars. fuel sourceReviewed by Jeff S from Georgia on Sunday, January 19, 2014Just bought one of these at great closeout price. Not sure why other buyers are having problem finding fuel canisters. It literally took me two clicks from a Google search to find these: http://www.amazon.com/Butane-GasOne-Canisters-Portable-Camping/dp/B001D7FYCI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_1

4.0 out of 5 stars. great for car campingReviewed by Anne in Colo from Colorado on Saturday, December 21, 2013The butane canisters this stove takes are the same ones sold at cook's supply houses. They use them for all those to-order buffets -- the omlet station and the stir-fry station. So with your supply of canisters taken care of ...
This is a great single burner cookstove for when you have a table at your campsite or a car gate to put it on. It's got a big surface so it's better for kitchen-sized cookware than hiking or backpacking pots. The adjustment knob moves smoothly from top to bottom so you can control the flame for different kinds of cooking. It's a great way to bring the tastes of home with you to the woods.
