Dealmoon is the largest shopping advisory site for Chinese-American shoppers in the United States. We successfully recommend thousands of quality products and services to our shoppers. Dealmoon was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Texas, with additional offices in California and China. 

 

We are seeking a smart, dynamic and creative Senior Sales Account Manager who is passionate about the luxury sector and has an innate understanding of a ‘good deal’.

Responsibilities will include: Prospecting and exploring new opportunities with brands; identifying targets to expand Dealmoon’s reach in the commerce landscape and negotiating relationships with partners. This individual will use their business acumen and industry knowledge to ensure overall success for new business opportunities.
 
The Sales Account Manager will also build strategy and implement tactics to produce revenue, optimize relationships with current partners, meet and exceed annual targets, and build strong client-direct relationships through exceptional customer service, integrity and professionalism.
 
Dealmoon is looking for a creative collaborator who works well in a fast-paced environment. He/She can prospect, develop and grow strategic partnerships with brands focused on engagement and connecting with their consumers. Meetings, entertaining and traveling to outer markets are required.
 
The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed in this position. Person holding this position may not be required to perform all duties in this description and incumbent(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description.
 
Essential Job Functions:
• Prospect and capture new relationships
• Determine lead generation strategy to help maintain pipeline of new business
• Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships and land partnerships that deliver on Dealmoon’s KPIs
• Optimize current relationships, ensuring that Dealmoon gets the best ROI with all relationships
• Complete proposals and help negotiate commission rates and/or flat fees for programs
• Drive increased efficiency of team by serving as liaison with interdepartmental teams including Editorial and Finance
• Manage respective affiliate network/merchant information, including keeping track of any program changes, and any other account management items
• Manage/assist colleagues and other departments as assigned or as needed
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or concerns
• Travel to conduct scheduled and non-scheduled meetings, conferences and training
 
Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications:
• Proven track record achieving sales goals and managing advertising sales opportunities from prospect to signing
• 7+ years in consumer marketing and/or business development specific to omni-channel business models
• Existing relationships with many top advertisers
• Experience creating complex, targeted, and customized advertising proposals for large customers and agencies (experience within the luxury sector is a plus)
• Proficiency with affiliate network platforms
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to resolve merchant complaints and concerns
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Microsoft Office and internet proficiency a must
• College Degree or equivalent experience required in related field (Marketing, Business Development, etc.)
